There are many great things to see and do in Brighton if you’re a parent with children to entertain. As a seaside town, Brighton has a great deal to offer during the warmer months of the year, but you shouldn’t struggle to identify suitable venues and attractions to attend even when the temperature plummets. Many children attending Isabello’s preschool in Brighton frequently visit the attractions listed below.

Constant coastal fun

Brighton is home to many great places to eat, shop and stay. It plays host to its very own Sea Life Centre, where more than 150 different creatures can be seen. The venue is also known for its glass-bottom boat, underwater tunnel and behind the scenes tours. The i360 tower is 162 metres tall and features an observation pod capable of rising to some 138m. This makes it the highest observation tower in the UK outside of the capital.

Step into history

The Brighton Toy Museum features more than 10,000 toys and models and is located underneath the railway station. Popular with adults and kids alike, it is home to various fascination model trains and cuddly teddy bears. Ancient Egyptian mummies can be found at the Brighton Museum & Art Gallery, whilst the Booth Museum of Natural History includes birds, bears, dinosaur bones and eagles.

Year-round entertainment

Brighton beach is a great place to visit even in the winter, with many of the local shops keeping their doors open even when summer is a distant memory. The promenade is scattered with a host of seafood stalls, beach huts, art shops and more, with Brighton Fishing Museum also being a big draw for families from across the town, country and world. The world-famous Brighton Pier is well-known for its dodgems, carousels and rollercoasters, and the ideal place to snack on seafood, doughnuts, fish and chips and Brighton rock.
